Rutinas diarias

EJEMPLO:
Hello,
Weekdays
Every day I wake up at seven o’ clock at the morning, I wash my face.
After that I prepare my breakfast and later I dress approximately at quarter past seven.
Afterwards I brush my teeth.
At half past seven I go out, Sometimes I go to work in bike, but almost always I go to work in the car with my fellow worker.
My work starts at eight o' clock at the morning. In my work I work with the leather, because I am in a leather factory.
At half past ten I have breakfast, during the week I only have bread with butter for breakfast because I don’t have time for anything else. But on Saturday and Sunday I have orange juice, white coffee and bread with parma jam for breakfast because I have more time.
At two o'clock I go to home in the car with my fellow worker or in my bike.
At quarter past two I have lunch with my wife and my daugther.
At quarter to three I go to work once again
At six o'clock I come to my house. Always I have a shower and after I dress.
At half past seven I go to the school
At quarter past nine I have dinner. I sometimes watch TV.
Finally, I often go to the bed at eleven o'clock approximately.
Bye, see you soon

Estilo indirecto II (Reported speech II).

Estilo indirecto II

Reported speech II

Ejemplo

Directo
Ingles:
Tom said, "New York is bigger than London."
Indirecto
Ingles:
Tom said (that) New York is (or was) bigger than London.

Ejemplo

Ingles:
You met Ann. She said, "Jim is sick." (direct speech)

Later that day you see Jim playing tennis and looking fine.

You say: "I'm surprised to see you playing tennis, Jim. Ann said that you weresick."
(not that you are sick, because he isn't sick)

Español:
Viste a Ann. Ella dijo, "Jim está enfermo." (estilo directo)

2) Say y tell.

a)

Ejemplo

Ingles:
Tom told me (that) he didn't like Brian. (no se dice: Tom said me ... )

b)

También se utiliza la forma infinitiva (to do/to stay, etc.) en estilo indirecto, especialmente para pedidos y demandas. Especialmente con ask y tell.

Ejemplo

Directo
Ingles:
"Stay in bed for a few days," the doctor said to me.
Indirecto
Ingles:
The doctor told me to stay in bed for a few days.

Ejemplo

Directo
Ingles:
"Can you open the door for me, Tom?" Ann asked.
Español:
"¿Me puedes abrir la puerta por favor?" Ann pidió.
Indirecto
Ingles:
Ann asked Tom to open the door for her.
Recuerda:
En ingles Mustmightcouldwouldshould, and ought no cambian en estilo indirecto. May en estilo directo normalmente cambia a might en etilo indirecto.

Pasado perfecto (Past perfect).

Pasado Perfecto (Past Perfect Tense)

The film had finished when she arrived at the cinema.

Sarah had prepared dinner when her husband got home.

I had bought a new car.Yo había comprado un nuevo auto.
You had cleaned the house.Tú habías limpiado la casa.
He had brought the gifts.Él había traído los regalos.
She had lost the credit card.

Had I bought a new car?Había comprado yo un nuevo auto?
Had you cleaned the house?Habías limpiado tú la casa?
Had he brought the gifts?Había traído él los regalos?
Had she lost the credit card?

I had not bought a new dress.Yo no había comprado un nuevo vestido.
You had not cleaned the house.Tú no habías limpiado la casa.
He had not brought the gifts.Él no había traído los regalos.
She had not lost the credit card.

Presente perfecto (Present perfect).

Presente perfecto

Brevemente: sujeto + have/has + verbo (pasado participio)
  • Ejemplos:
Afirmativo
He comido una manzana. → I have eaten an apple.
Me ha comprado un coche. → He has bought me a car.
Negativo
sujeto + haven't/ hasn´t + verbo (pasado participio)
No me ha llevado al zoológico. → He hasn´t given me a lift to the zoo.
Ellos no han estudiado para el examen. → They haven´t studied for the test.
Pregunta
Have/has + sujeto + verbo (pasado participio)?
¿Cuantas veces has visto esa película? → How many times have you seen that film?
→ Which has been the best film you have ever seen?

Present perfect con for y since

"For" y "since" sirven para delimitar el tiempo de la acción del verbo. "For" tiene el significado de durante y "since", desde.
  • Ejemplos:

He vivido aquí durante 4 años. → I have lived here for four years
He vivido aquí desde 2004. → I have lived here since 2004

No he estudiado desde 2002. → I haven´t studied since 2002

Present perfect con already, yet y just

"For" y "since" establecen cuando se ha concluido la acción mientras que alreadyjust y yet.
  • Already: ya
  • Just: acabar de
  • Yet: todavía no, aun
Ya he hecho mis deberes. →I have already done my homework
Acabo de hacer mis deberes. → I have just done my homework
Todavía no he hecho mis deberes. → I haven't done my homework yet

→ What has been the most interesting book you have ever read?
